It reimburses admission expenses exceeding 24 hours due to illness or accident: daily hospital allowance, operating room fees, medical fees, ICU, oncology treatments, diagnostics, surgery, nursing care, medicines, and transport.

It pays for medical consultations, professional fees, surgery, diagnostic tests, rehabilitation, antenatal classes, obstetric care, newborn care, psychiatric consultations, spa treatments, alternative medicine and complementary therapies.

It secures a sum assured for medical fees, diagnostic tests, dental and maxillofacial treatments, cleanings, prostheses, orthodontics, and initial consultations; teeth whitening and private nursing are typically excluded.

It provides fast access to a network of healthcare providers with discounted rates, including outpatient care, specialist consultations, physical medicine, rehabilitation, diagnostics, prostheses, and orthoses at highly competitive negotiated prices.

It reimburses admission expenses for normal delivery, caesarean section, or involuntary termination: medical and nursing fees, operating room and recovery room assistance, diagnostics, medicines, and transport; it excludes private nursing.

There are in-network benefits, where the insured pays a fixed amount when using an approved provider, and reimbursement benefits, out of network, where you pay the expense and receive a reimbursement of up to 60%.

They set minimum and maximum ages to take out and remain on the insurance. There is no minimum age and the maximum corresponds to retirement age (66 years). Some contracts also allow lifelong cover.

It is the timeframe between the policy start date and the activation of specific cover options. During this interval, these do not cover medical expenses. For maternity, waiting periods are long (365–540 days).

It is the maximum amount available per cover option in each policy year. Used amounts reduce the available limit, which then renews the following year. Some cover options measure limits by the number of consultations, while others have no annual usage limits.
