An accident is an event caused by a sudden, unforeseeable cause beyond the will of the Policyholder or the Insured Person that results in bodily injury or death.

There is individual insurance, in which the Policyholder and the Insured Person are the same, and group insurance, taken out by a collective entity (company, association or club) to protect several people with common interests.

It is important because Accident is a risk present for anyone.
